The hike up to Falkertspitz (2.308m) is located in the Nockberge of Carinthia. It is perfect for anyone who is looking for a short but challenging hike. Although the ascent from lake Falkert is officially marked as taking about 1 hour, it can be done in 45minutes with a bit motivation. The trail is short but steep, so do not underestimate it. Once at the summit, you are rewarded with stunning panoramic views - an ideal spot for a well-deserved snack break. What makes this hike even more enjoyable is the fact that it is a loop, so you do not have to return the same way you came. This adds variety and keeps things interesting. This hike can be done in summer as well as in winter, the views are stunning in every season.
