The Hike

Distance: 2km - Duration: 1.5h- Altitude: 100m

Description

The Liechtensteinklamm is one of the deepest and most impressive gorges in the Alps, known for its dramatic rock walls, roaring waterfalls and spectacular walkways through the narrow canyon. The well-secured trail leads visitors deep into the gorge, passing bridges, tunnels and stunning viewpoints surrounded by the raw power of nature. One of the highlights is the famous “Helix” spiral staircase, that winds around 30 meters down through the rock formations and offers a truly unique perspective of the gorge. Throughout the walk, the sound of rushing water and the cool mountain air create an unforgettable atmosphere. The hike is suitable for families and nature lovers alike, though visitors should be prepared for a good number of stairs — over 400 in total.

Good to know
