Description

The Bärenschutzklamm is another impressive gorge hikes in Austria, offering an adventure through steep rock walls, waterfalls and narrow wooden walkways. The trail leads deep into the gorge over countless ladders, bridges and staircases, creating a unique combination of hiking and climbing experience surrounded by raw alpine nature. Due to the many ladders and elevation gain, the hike is more demanding than most gorge trails and is best suited for hikers with a good fitness level.
