If you're looking for a charming, budget-friendly day out with the kids that involves animals, Lizzie's Farm is a hidden gem in the Worcestershire countryside. This small, family-run petting farm offers a delightful experience where children can get up close with a variety of friendly animals.
The farm is home to an array of adorable creatures, including sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, and the stars of the show; Highland cows! These shaggy-haired beauties are a hit with kids, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a calf or two. Kids can gently pet some of the animals, making it an interactive and educational experience.
After meeting the animals, there's a Tea Room for some homemade treats. They serve a selection of cakes, sandwiches and hot drinks. The Farm Shop also offers a range of local produce, including fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy products, meaning you get to take a piece of the countryside home with you.
