Kingsbury Water Park is an all round free day out; it's got 15 lakes, lots of trails, playground, cafe and even a mini railway for some old-school fun.

It's perfect for a bike ride as there are 3 different family routes you can take. If you don't have bikes but want to try out a family ride, then there's bike hire from Big Frank's right by the main car park.

The Pink Route (2.7 miles) is perfect for little legs and beginner bikers. It starts right by Big Frank’s Cycle Hire, near the main car park and Lake View Play Area so you’re off to a fun start already. The route loops through Kingsbury Water Park in a gentle figure of eight, with loads to see along the way – think pretty views, a den building area, and a peek at St Peter & St Paul Church by the River Tame. Keep an eye out for jet bikes zipping across Hemlingford Water too!

There are toilets and food near the visitor centre for pre- or post-ride refuelling, or just pack a picnic and pick a scenic spot along the trail.
