Earlswood Lakes is a lovely, easy-going spot for a family wander; buggy-friendly, bike-friendly and full of waterside views. You’ll loop around two of the three peaceful reservoirs (Windmill and Engine Pool), both ideal for little cyclists or a relaxed walk.

If you fancy a longer route you can add Terry’s Pool into the mix, but the path gets a bit bumpier there so might not be quite as buggy-friendly.

There’s loads to see along the way: sailing boats gliding across the water, birds everywhere (keep your eyes peeled for a woodpecker!) and even a historic engine house to spot.

One side has a little stream too, it's a bit of a scramble to get to, but perfect for adventurous kids.

Finish up at the newly built playground or head to the nearby craft centre for a post-walk mooch.
