The Federispitz in See-Gaster, Switzerland is an exciting hike offering spectacular views of the Alps and noteworthy geology. With its close proximity to Zurich, it's a popular pick for spring adventurers looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience. The hike begins with a slight incline through the forest before opening to a stunning ridge and summit view, culminating at 1865 meter with 360-degree vistas. So pack your camera and lace up your boots for an unforgettable hiking journey--Federispitz awaits!

HIKE DETAILS:

Start: Weesen. The hike is long, distance of 14,3km out and back with elevation gains of 1515 meters. Yes, my friends, you heard it right. It is hard.

From Wessen you start in the forest towards Alp Matt then towards Fiderschenboden. The last 200 meters of the trail is quite exposed so please practice caution. Once you reach the top, you have the best 360 degrees of views that makes you immediately forget the hard way up. Enjoy and don't forget to pack enough food and water. It' a long day out there in the mountains.
