Lake Caumasee, also known as Lake Cauma, is a stunning emerald gem nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps. With its mesmerizing turquoise waters and breathtaking mountain views, it's no wonder that this picturesque oasis is a must-visit destination in Switzerland. You can both visit in summer and winter. The easiest way to get there without hiking is to take the bus to Flims Waldhaus Caumasee. From here you need to walk 15 minutes to the lift or if you would like to skip the lift you need an extra 15 minutes to walk thru the forest trail to reach the lake.

The lift runs from 8 am until 5 pm from June to August.

There is a restaurant as well. You can swim, paddle board, take a pedal boat on the lake and also hike around the lake.

In winter there is groomed loop hiking trail touching the lake. You start at Flims Dorf Bergbahnen and follow the 274 sign. The hike is 10 km long with 260 meters of elevation gain. It can take 3 - 4 hours to complete. Beautiful winter trail. Highly recommend it.
