Cascata Del Botto is a hidden gem of a waterfall located in Ticino, Switzerland. Visitors must follow a dirt path through a jungle-like pathway to reach the site, but it is worth the effort. Once there, visitors can enjoy the mesmerizing sight of the waterfall cascading 68 meters down from the Sovaglia river toward Lake Lugano. While swimming is prohibited here, it is still a great spot to relax with the cascade lightly spraying your face.

Hike details:

Start: Melano located at 288 meters.

Distance is 2,5 km with elevation gains of 211 meters. The hike can be completed under an hour. Super easy.

From the waterfall follow the sign towards Rovio, that will be your end destination.
