Monte Sant'Agata is a fantastic hiking trail located in Rovio, Ticino, Switzerland. It's a short loop trail that offers breathtaking views of Lake Lugano The trail starts and ends in Rovio, taking you through a beautiful forest on easy paths. At the top of Monte Sant'Agata, which sits at an elevation of 939 meters, you'll find a charming chapel dedicated to Sant'Agata. It's a great spot to take a break, soak in the scenery, and maybe even have a picnic.

HIKE DETAILS:

Start at the charming Rovio village. Follow the sign towards Monte Sant Agata. Pretty straightforward trail. Distance is 6 km, elevation gain 413 meters.

The hike can take you between 2-3 hours.
