Crestasee is a stunning lake that attracts people during the summer and winter months. With its crystal clear water and beautiful surroundings, it's the perfect spot for spending time in nature. You can reach Crestasee by car or public transportation, and there are plenty of hiking trails to explore in the area. The lake has a kiosk where you can buy tickets to access the lake, ( May - September 7 chi for aduklts and 3 for children the rest of the month are free) There is even a restaurant nearby if you get hungry. The best time to visit is between May and September when the weather is warm enough for swimming but you cannot go wrong with winter either. That's when I visited and let me tell you, there was no one.

How to get there:

Take the number 81 bus from Chur towards Falera Center. The ride takes 26 minutes. From the bus stop you have to walk 15 mins to reach the lake. It is incredibly beautiful with pine trees around.

If you decide to visit it in winter, there is a loop hike called Winterwanderweg Lag la Cresta. The hike is 5 km long with 129 meters of elevation gain. It can take 1,5 hours to complete.
