Gumen is a small village nestled in between the mountains in kanton Glarus.. It's one of those places where time seems to slow down and you can truly relax and unwind.

The hike to Gumen is a fairly easy circular hike, offers beautiful views to Braunwald and the surrounding mountains. You can alway spice this trail up with completing the via ferrata on the Eggstöcken.

HIKE DETAILS:

Start at Braunwald, Bergstation Grotzenbühl. It is a loop trail so you will be ending the hike at the same place you started. the trail is 9 km long with 495 meters of elevation gain. It can take 2,5 - 3 hours to complete. Best time to visit between Juni and October.
