The Britannia Hut SAC is an exciting destination located in Saas Fee, Switzerland. Featuring breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, visitors can explore the area by hiking along the Haute Route or embark on thrilling Via Ferrate.

HIKE DETAILS: Take the cable car to Felskinn and start from there. From Felskinn you cross one glacier that is well groomed and maintained.

The hike is 7,5 km long to Britannia hut and back which can take 2,5 hours. Elevation gain is approx 300 meters.

Once at the hut enjoy the view to Allalinhorn and to Hohlaubglacier and Allalinglacier.

TIP: once you are at Britannia hut and you still have energy you can hike up to Klein Allalin (3070m) peak, it is totally worth it.
