Gantrischseeli is a romantic mountain lake located at 1578 meters above sea level, near Untere Gantrischhutte.

This beautiful hidden lake is located in the Gantrisch Naturpark in kanton Bern.

HIKE DETAILS:

Start at Untere Gantrisch hut located at 1510 meter. It is a short loop trail.

Once you reach the lake, you can enjoy it by having a picnic or simply just sit there and admire the silence around you.

On the way back you can continue towards Birehütte and back to where you started.

The trail is 2,1 km long with 119 meters of elevation and takes about 50 minutes to complete.

Totally family friendly.

TIP: in case you need a little adventure set off and complete the entire Panorama web which is 21 km long with 13oo meters of elevation gain. It takes you about 7 hours to complete. ( The trail is marked as 379 on the Switzerland Mobility app)
