Fronalpstock is a stunning destination located in the region of Schwyz that offers magnificent views and activities for families and adventurers alike. HIKE DETAILS:

Start at Schwyz Stoosbahn bus stop. There is a huge parking lot for people arriving by car. Take the steepest (110%) funicular train in the world up to Stoos. From here you have some options. You either hike the entire trail, from Stoos to Klingenstock, cross the ridge and hike down on the side of KFronaplstock.

In my opinion this would a very extreme busy hiking trip so what I did is, I took the chairlift up to Klingenstock and hikes the ridge towards Fronaplstock. Here I hikes back down to Stoos. You can also jump on the chairlift at Fronaplstock if you don't want to hike back down to Stoos.

The ridge you hike is 4,7 km long with400 meters of elevation gain. It can take 2 hours.

At Fronalpstock you can hang out in the restaurant, children can play at the playground and they also have mini goats to hang out with.
