The Sir Duncan Rice Library is the main academic library at the University of Aberdeen, designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and completed in 2011. This cube-shaped building stands out with its zebra-like glass stripes and houses a vast collection of ancient books and manuscripts. Named after former Principal Duncan Rice, this seven-story tower is a prominent feature on campus, offering a modern and efficient space for students and researchers to explore and study.
