The Lidernenhütte SAC is a family-friendly mountain hut nestled deep in the Swiss Alps. Built in 1944 by the alpine club Sektion Mythen, the charming traditional lodge allows up to 87 guests to stay overnight and enjoys spectacular views from its position high above the valley floor.

Getting there :

you have two options. One is to hike from Chäppeliberg bus stop 1h 40 minutes.

The second option is take the cable car (Seilbahn Chäppeliberg-Spilau) and hike 5-10 minutes to the hut. Enjoy the views and the local dishes.

Tip: if you have time and feeling adventurous I recommend to take the extra 30 mins hike ( with elevation changes approx 100m) to Spilauersee. It is an incredible crystal clear lake nestled deep between the mountains. Worth the visit!
