Gorner Gorge is a spectacular natural attraction located in Zermatt, Switzerland. It was carved by the Gornervispe waters during the last ice age and has been open to tourists since 1886. The gorge is a 15-minute walk from the village of Zermatt and all visitors can takeaway a thrilling adventure by walking through its walls of towering greenish serpentinite rock. Nature lovers will marvel at the ever-changing bright turquoise colour of the water at certain times of day.

The gorge is open until mid October.

Tip: go and visit the gorge for special light conditions about mid October at 3-4 pm. The water takes on a very spcecial turquoise color.

Certainly worth the visit.
