Another nice waterfall upstream near Dettifoss waterfall. You can hike to it from both sides, the trail on the west side is easier but east side provides better view.

❄️ Winter: Road 864 on the east side is closed and paved 862 on the west side closes too when snow comes. That said i've seen it reopen when there's a decent weather forecast/not much snow.
