Gljúfrabúi, also known as Canyon Dweller, is a hidden gem of a waterfall located near the popular Seljalandsfoss. Tucked behind a cliff, this 40-meter-tall beauty offers a magical experience for those willing to wade through the stream to reach it and get a little bit wet. Usually very busy in summer, you might even need to wait in line to get inside the cave to take a photo.

🅿️ Parking: Paid (900 isk) - it shares the same parking lot with Seljalandsfoss so you only pay once.

🚶Distance: 1km/0.6mi

💡Tips: Bring rain gear if you'd like to get closer to the waterfall
❄️ Winter: Open but expect it to be very slippery. Bring ice grips.

🚁 Drones: Not allowed
