Ingjaldshólskirkja is a quick, worthwhile stop near Hellissandur. It’s Iceland’s oldest concrete church (built in 1903) and sits on a small hill with views of the surrounding lava fields and, on a clear day, Snæfellsjökull glacier. There's parking right at the church, and it’s a great spot for photos — especially in summer when the lupines are blooming. No need to budget more than 10–15 minutes here unless you're taking photos or flying a drone.
