Thingvellir National Park is a historical and natural gem. It's where the Alþing general assembly met from 930 to 1798, making it a significant site in Icelandic history. Allow 1-2 hours for visiting this place.

4km/2.5mi from P1 parking, down to Öxarárfoss waterfall, parliament building and back

📝 Notes: Even though recommended everywhere, I've never found this place to be as fascinating at least compared to other places Iceland has to offer
