Akureyrarkirkja is Akureyri’s iconic white church sitting on a small hill that gives you a great view over the town and the fjord.
🅿️ Parking: Paid 218 isk/hour (via Parka or Easypark)

It's best to leave your car at the paid parking lot by the road and walk from there. It's a short walk but you will have to walk up long stairs.

(There's also a free parking lot by the Hof centre (round building) across the road, but it's a bit further. )

💡 Tip: On the way back you can take left turn to Hafnarstræti street and explore downtown of Akureyri. Then you circle back to the parking lot or extend your walk a little, cross the main road and walk to the harbour.
