Hverir, also known as Namafjall or Namaskard, is a geothermal area in Iceland that will make you feel like you've landed on another planet. Hverir features fumaroles, mud pools, steam vents, and a surreal orangy-red landscape. Be prepared for the smell of sulphur (rotten eggs).
