Djúpalónssandur beach is a stunning black lava beach on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. With its unique rock formations and hidden lagoons. In Djúpalónssandur you can also find the famous lifting stones which were used to test the strength of sailors. The hike around the area will take you between 20-40 minutes.
