Gullfoss Falls, also known as the "Golden Waterfall," is a majestic cascade located in Southwest Iceland. With two impressive drops measuring 11 meters and 21 meters, it plunges into the Hvítá river canyon, creating a breathtaking display of nature's power.

🅿️ Parking: Free (park by visitors centre/upper parking lot)

🚶Distance: 1.7km/1mi roundtrip (if you visit both lower and upper viewing platforms)

💡Tip: If I could only pick one, I would visit the lower platform (you're closer to the waterfall and can feel the power)
❄️ Winter: Accessible, though the lower platform might close if there's too much ice

🚁 Drones: Not allowed without a permit from the Environment Agency of Iceland
