Hverfjall in northern Iceland is a massive volcanic crater that will blow your mind! Standing over 400 meters tall it was formed by a volcanic eruption around 25,000 years ago. You can hike to the top for epic views of the surrounding area, and trust me, it's totally worth it. Just make sure to stick to the marked paths and soak in the breathtaking beauty of this natural wonder.

  • You can hike around the whole crater's rim if you have time

  • It might be tricky to get to in the winter without 4x4

  • Paid Parking : 1.000 isk (Parka app)
