Gatklettur is a stunning natural stone arch and another beautiful photospot located on Arnarstapi's coastline.

🅿️ Parking: Free parking just past Arnastapi Hotel or harbour

🚶Distance: If you visit it from Arnastapi hotel parking it's around 900m/0,6mi rountrip

❄️ Winter: Accessible

⚠️ Safety Notes: Don't walk too close if there're big waves or a strong wind

📝 Notes: Protected area, no drones allowed

🥾Hike: A good way to explore the area is a popular coastal hike which starts from Arnastapi harbour and takes you along this beautiful coastline with cliffs, stone bridges and other unique rock formations. It's about 2,5km/1,6mi roundtrip. You can either walk back the same way or come back on the road.

🚁 Drones: Not allowed without a permit from the Environment Agency of Iceland
