Perched on the edge of Mount Baker National Forest it doesn’t get much more quintessential PNW than Hygge Hus. We are talking evergreens, ferns, and moss as far as the eye can see! Hygge means “An atmosphere of warmth, well-being, and coziness,” and the Hygge Hus most certainly lives up to its namesake! It’s arguably the most relaxing and luxurious getaway on the list. The interior has been meticulously renovated and the vibes are no less than immaculate! And while it was tempting to never leave the house, I found myself wandering down to the cedar hot tub a couple times a day during my stay . It really gave forest bathing a whole new meaning.
