I absolutely fell in love with Heartland Treehouse while I was there. I still can’t exactly put my fingure on what it was, but there’s just something really social about this property. Perched between two massive fir trees, Heartland Treehouse overlooks a steep river canyon and is one of the only “treehouses” I’ve stayed at that really made me feel like I was getting a squirrel’s eye view of the world. You can hear the river rushing by and feel the trees gently swaying with the breeze. It’s secluded, beautifully designed, and was comfortable and relaxing throughout my stay.

I thought you might light to know. . . I would describe a stay at Heartland Treehouse as five star glamping. The only thing located inside is the bed. If you want to shower, use the compost toilet, or cook anything, you’ll be doing that in the great outdoors. Plus, most of those outdoor features are located down a fairly significant wood staircase. So, if you don’t like stairs, or being naked outside, this cabin stay probably isn’t for you.

Location: Langlois, Oregon Capacity: 2 guests Beds: 1 Favorite Feature: Twin outdoor bathtubs and sauna
