Nestled amidst the captivating beauty of the Olympic Peninsula, Blue Haven is Lake Sutherland’s most picturesque and iconic lakefront cabin.

Featured in countless Instagram photos, this retreat is one of the best places for a lakeside getaway I’ve been to. The private dock is perfect for relaxation, book reading, and sunset watching.

My favorite thing to do during this stay was to take the complimentary kayaks out for a paddle each morning when the lake was particularly serene thanks to the direct access from the cabin.

Tip: Blue Haven would be an amazing getaway for a larger group as it comfortably sleeps up to 6. It would not, however, be a very good option for anyone with accessibility issues.
