🇬🇧 Sunset lovers, you will like this spot! This is the most popular spot for a sundowner in town – and people gather here every night with some drinks and Bosnian style pizza. 

The hike up from the city center is super easy and just takes 10 to 15 minutes. You follow the Kovači street up, walk past the Kovači Cemetery and from there you can already see the ruins of the old fortress.

There is a little café at the fortress where you can buy drinks but you can also bring your own.

*Visiting this sunset spot is especially nice during the Holy month of Ramadan – every day, right at sunset, a cannon is fired from the Yellow Bastion, marking sunset and the breaking of the fast. People gather to watch the cannon being fired and enjoy their Iftar right afterwards.*

🇩🇪 Wer Sonnenuntergänge liebt, wird diesen Ort mögen! Er ist der beliebteste  für einen Sundowner in der Stadt. Der Aufstieg vom Stadtzentrum aus ist ganz einfach und dauert nur 10 bis 15 Minuten. Du folgst der Kovači-Straße nach oben, gehst am Kovači-Friedhof vorbei und kannst von dort aus bereits die Ruinen der alten Festung sehen.
