Lakefront Restaurant at the Tamarack Lodge in Mammoth Lakes offers a relaxed yet scenic dining experience right on the shores of Lake Mary. Although, you really can't see the lake from inside the restaurant. Known for its casual, family-friendly atmosphere, the restaurant serves a variety of comfort foods, hearty breakfasts, and classic American fare, making it a convenient stop after a morning of kayaking, fishing, or hiking. The food is quite good, but we'd say it's overpriced. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a lakeside patio provide some views of the lake and surrounding peaks, letting guests soak in the alpine scenery while they eat. Whether you’re fueling up before an adventure or winding down after a day outdoors, Lakefront Restaurant combines good food with one of the most picturesque settings in the Eastern Sierra.
