Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park is a charming spot nestled on a headland overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Mendocino, California. Visitors can explore the active lighthouse with its original Fresnel lens, three restored lightkeeper homes, a marine science exhibit, and vacation rental cottages. The park offers a picturesque setting for strolling, learning about coastal history, and maybe even spotting some whales. It's a great place to unwind and soak up the coastal vibes while taking in the stunning views.

From the parking lot, it is roughly a 0.75mi walk along a paved road to get to the lighthouse.
