Mori Point is a beautiful 110-acre park located in Pacifica, California. It's part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and offers stunning views of the coastline. The park features a bluff, small ponds, wetlands, and scenic trails that connect to Sharp Park beach. It's home to the threatened California red-legged frog and the endangered San Francisco garter snake. Mori Point is also known for its spring wildflower displays. In the past, it was used for quarrying limestone and even had a speakeasy during Prohibition. After facing potential development, the land was purchased and preserved by various organizations. Today, visitors can enjoy the natural beauty and diverse wildlife at Mori Point.
There are a number of entry points to this trail which can alter how challenging the hike is. If you park and start from the parking lot right off of Highway 1 across from Reina Del Mar Ave, there are some steep climbs as you make your way up to the bluff area. If you park in the neighborhood off of Seaside Drive, it's a much shorter and easier hike out to the point.
Our recommendation is to do the full looped trail if you can, it's worth it for the views.
