The campground offers a mix of tent and RV sites just steps from the sand, giving campers easy access to surfing, tidepool exploring, and long walks along the beach. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings, and the campground features restrooms, coin showers, and a small camp store to make overnight stays convenient. With its gentle waves, iconic pier, and picturesque sunsets over the Pacific, Doheny State Beach Campground provides a quintessential coastal camping experience for families, solo travelers, and surf enthusiasts alike.

Disclaimer: there is a decent amount of train and road noise, so if you're looking for a quiet experience, this probably isn't an ideal campground.
