Bridalveil Fall is one of the most prominent and memorable attractions in Yosemite National Park. And at only 0.8 miles round trip, it is a perfect soft adventure. It stands at 617ft (188m) tall and is visible from many parts of the valley. On windy days, the rushing water is often blown sideways, creating a unique sight for visitors. To capture the enchantment of this beautiful waterfall, the Ahwahneechee Native Americans called it "Pohono", which means "spirit of the puffing wind". With year-long flowing water, careless bird calls echoing in the distance, and the breathtaking beauty of Yosemite Valley, Bridalveil Fall is sure to be an unforgettable experience.

Sadly during one of our visits, there were massive fires burning in and around Yosemite, resulting in incredibly smoky conditions. Make sure to check weather before visiting.

Pet-friendly: No, pets are not permitted.

Soft adventure: Yes, absolutely!

Seasonality: All seasons
