Malibu Creek State Park Campground, located in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu, California, offers a picturesque camping experience surrounded by oak woodlands, rolling hills, and dramatic rock formations. The campground features 63 campsites for tents and RVs (up to 30 feet), with restrooms, showers, and a dump station available. Known as the “Yosemite of Southern California,” the park is a haven for hikers, rock climbers, and nature lovers, with access to scenic trails, Malibu Creek, and the famous MAS*H filming site. Just a short drive from Malibu’s beaches, the campground provides both mountain solitude and coastal access. Reservations are recommended, especially during weekends and peak seasons.
