Torpedo Wharf, located just beside Fort Point in San Francisco’s Presidio, is a scenic pier offering some of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Originally built in 1909 and reconstructed in the 1940s, it’s now a favorite local spot for fishing, photography, and sunset strolls. The wharf’s unobstructed vantage point makes it a perfect place to capture the bridge framed by the bay, especially during golden hour when the light hits the water just right. Whether you’re walking your dog, casting a line, or simply soaking up the view, Torpedo Wharf offers a peaceful, postcard-perfect slice of the city’s waterfront.
