Valley View Campground #1 in Mount Madonna County Park offers spacious and somewhat private campsites for RVs or tents, with the added bonus of yurts available for rent. The campground provides basic amenities like potable water, picnic tables, and food lock boxes. Visitors can enjoy hiking with direct trail access right from the campground, and horseback riding on the park's trails, as well as wildlife watching and photography opportunities. Be prepared for changing weather conditions due to coastal fog, and keep an eye out for "tree rain" that can dampen your tent. Overall, Valley View #1 is a great spot for a peaceful outdoor getaway with plenty of activities to keep you entertained. This is definitely one of our favorite places to camp!
