Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park is a stunning natural oasis nestled in the Santa Lucia Mountains of California. With its towering peaks and picturesque Big Sur River Gorge, this park offers a breathtaking escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're a hiker, biker, camper, or just looking for a peaceful retreat, Pfeiffer Big Sur has something for everyone. Explore scenic trails, spot wildlife like bobcats and deer, and relax by the river.

The campground is very popular, and books up months in advance, so you'll want to reserve a site as early as possible. There are two sections to the campground, which includes over 180 sites, showers, bathrooms and a dump station. The sites themselves do not have water, dump or electricity, however there are water hookups scattered around the campground.

Pet-friendly: Yes, but must be on leash and well-behaved

Seasonality: All seasons, however closures can occur during winter months due to weather
