Artists Palette park is located in Death Valley National Park and gives visitors a spectacular view. The hillsides are painted with a vibrant array of colors from iron oxides and chlorite, creating a beautiful rainbow effect. Along the Artists Drive Scenic Loop, travelers can explore the rugged Black Mountains and white salt flats. With no maintained trails, it’s great for experienced adventurers or even those just looking to catch a sunset. There is a one-way limit for the Artists Drive loop due to sharp bends and dips, however, taking it will provide visitors with a fantastic view and lasting memories!

Pet-friendly: No, pets are not permitted on the trails

Soft adventure: Yes! But it's sort of a choose your own adventure, so it can be more of a medium adventure if you want it to be.

Seasonality: All seasons, but we would not recommend going in the summer due to excessive heat.

Fee: Park entry fees change from season to season ($25-$30)
