Tank Garage Winery in Calistoga is anything but ordinary—housed inside a restored 1930s service station on Foothill Boulevard, it captures vintage Americana and rock-and-roll energy wrapped in Napa Valley winemaking. Founded by wine-industry veterans who embraced “Never Dream Alone” as a motto, the winery specializes in small-lot, one-off blends that riff on California’s varietal diversity and creative spirit. The tasting room’s vibe is playful, unconventional and inviting—expect eclectic artwork, up-cycled décor, and a few surprises (including adult-themed humor), all while you sample imaginative wines that might include sparkling pét-nat, skin-contact whites, and red blends you won’t find elsewhere.

This is easily one of our favorite wineries in Napa Valley.

Pet-friendly: Yes, but must be leashed, well-behaved and picked up after

Outdoor seating: Yes, there are a number of outdoor tables available

Tasting fees: Prices can range based on the tasting options, but start at just $40 per person. We recommend referring to the wineries website or calling to confirm.
