My FAVORITE campsite in North Iceland. Such a cozy campsite nestled by the sea in the Tjörnes peninsula, offering stunning sunset views and abundant birdlife. Around the summer solstice you can literally watch the sun never set. It's crazy!

There are good facilities including warm showers, toilets, indoor cooking areas, and even a laundry room. There is also a little museum about old life in Iceland and a playground for kids. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing stay.

Located just a short drive from Ásbyrgi and Húsavík, this campsite is a great base for exploring North Iceland's natural wonders. The owner is a friendly farmer who will chat your ear off when you arrive. Best campsite for summer time!!

No need to make a reservation ahead of time, but get here early as it can fill up since it's the best campsite!
