Kulusuk, a settlement in southeastern Greenland, is home to around 241 residents, including many Danes attracted by the airport. The village, founded in 1909, sits on an island surrounded by hilly terrain and stunning mountains. With its unique dialect of Greenlandic, Kulusuk offers a mix of traditional hunting and fishing activities alongside tourism, providing opportunities for visitors to experience local culture and explore the rugged Arctic landscape.
Upernavik Museum is one of the country's oldest museums, established in the early 1950s. The museum has exhibitions in three buildings and also manages an artist residency, where artists, writers, musicians, and others from around the world come to visit each year.
