This is the most cool place we have ever visited in Australia. Period.

Tunnel Creek is the oldest cave system in the world with its crystal-clear water, limestone formations, and unique wildlife like freshies and bats.

You can literally explore the caves wading through the water (deep in some parts) in the darkness. We used a headlamp and could literally see freshwaters crocodiles and bats, it was GREAT!

The walk in the caves is just 2km return, remember to be aware of wildlife and do not bother it.

Photo tip: we highly recommend shooting at a low shutter speed to get as much light as you can in the photo and do the walk during the central part of the day to have lights in the parts where the caves are open!

It is a National Park so make sure you have a Western Australia National Park Pass
