With spectacular views and abundant marine life, Lakeside provides a range of activities including snorkelling from the shore and exploring the large coral bombies that have sheltered a variety of marine creatures, such as rays, reef sharks, turtles, and more.

It was our favorite spot to snorkel because it's so easy to spot reef sharks and a lot of fish!

Be aware it is a drift snorkelling so the current is stronger and requires better swim abilities. We recommend swimming in straight from the left side and then drift to the right.

There is a short 500m walk from the car park to the sanctuary zone snorkelling spot

It is part of a National Park so make sure you have a Western Australia National Park Pass
