Python Pool is an amazing natural attraction in Millstream National Park, we highly recommend stopping for a visit on your way to Karijini.

The swimming hole is huge, clear and deep while the waterfall is seasonal and it is likely to be dry during the peak of dry season.

Alongside the pool, there are two trails you can explore. The Python Pool Trail is 200m return, whilst a more challenging 4km return steep hill once is also available and it will take you to the top of the waterfall where a natural infinity pool is.

Bear in mind this is one of the hottest places in Australia so it gets above 40° during the day. Check road conditions and weather before going!

It is part of a National Park so make sure you have a Western Australia National Park Pass
