Spray Lakes is a reservoir located in Kananaskis (Spray Valley Provincial Park) with plenty of day use areas. It is super accessible, although the parking lots fill up quickly on weekends. You do have to drive down a gravel road to get here so be prepared to get your car dusty. Driftwood day use area has a boat launch, picnic tables, and outhouses.

A couple things to note:

  • There is no service in this area (I recommend downloading the map)

  • Spray Lakes can get quite windy at times

  • A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley
