If you’re looking for a fun, slightly different night out in Banff — this is one of my go-to spots.

Hello Sunshine feels like stepping into a retro 70s ski lodge… but with really good sushi. Think creative maki rolls, fresh sashimi, cocktails, and cozy fire tables — it’s a whole vibe.

This is my go-to for happy hour.
But here’s the thing — it fills up FAST.
If you actually want a spot, be there at least 30 minutes early.

Happy hour is where it’s at: discounted sushi, drinks, and a more relaxed atmosphere before it gets busy. After that, it turns into a pretty lively place — especially with the private karaoke rooms if you’re going with a group.

It’s one of those places that’s just fun. Good food, good energy, and a nice change from the typical Banff restaurant scene.

If you’re in town and want something a bit more social — add this to your list.
